Open Runway is excited to announce the Put Your Best Shoes Forward Photo Contest! As we get ready for our upcoming launch, we want to hear from women out there who have an undying passion for shoes. Tell us about your favorite pair for a chance to win a $100 American Express Gift Card.

Maybe it’s your lucky pair of red stilettos or those strappy sandals you were wearing when your husband proposed to you on the beach. Tell us why they still make your heart skip a beat every time you put them on.

To Enter:

Send an email to contests@openrunway.com with the following:

1) Photo of your favorite shoes. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible. Photographs must be in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. Files submitted may not be larger than 5m in size. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable.

2) Your Full Name

3) Your Email Address

4) Description (100 words or less) of why you love your shoes. Contest submissions are open until December 2, 2010.

At Open Runway, we’re a fashionocracy so you get to decide the winner. On December 3rd, 2010 we’ll post your submissions on Open Runway’s Facebook fan page to be judged.  Send your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to join Open Runway’s Facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!). The shoes that have the most ‘likes’ on Facebook by December 11th, 2010 will be awarded the winner.
